We have talked in prior posts about the "Old Way" of generating leads and contacts for your Network Marketing or MLM Home Based Business.  Other than constantly bugging your friends and family, most of the prospects come from cold calling in some form or another.  You meet someone at the grocery store, the barber shop or salon, your place of business and so forth.  Let me see a show of hands for those people who love to go out and talk to strangers about your Network Marketing or MLM business?  I know my hand is not up.  I have said this before, the reason that nearly 90% of people quit or fail in Network Marketing is because of REJECTION.  

  Human being's do not like rejection, its a trait we all have, you can't get away from it if you tried.  So why would an average person want to subject themselves to something that is against their very nature?  The answer is, they don't.  Sure, in the beginning of their Network Marketing or MLM venture, excitement and adrenaline are high and maybe they can make it through the first dozen rejections with no effect, but sooner or later, the fear of receiving that next NO, overpowers a person and they begin to question why they got involved in the first place.  

  If you read the "The 7-Great Lies of Network Marketing" you know that one of the biggest fallacies promoted by companies and up-line's is that people only need a big enough "Why" in their lives to overcome the fear of rejection and succeed at Network Marketing.  I don't know about you but when I first got involved many years ago, my "Why" was bigger than all my up-line combined.  Your Why, your motivation, your drive and excitement, your will power to succeed will only get you so far, for so long, when you follow the outdated methods still being taught today in Network Marketing and MLM.

  Thankfully there is a solution, an answer for overcoming that fear, and it centers around the concept of attracting people to YOU who have already been pre-qualified to YOUR opportunity.  Instead of cold calling a complete stranger, your prospect comes already knowing who you are and what you have to offer.  What makes more sense, talking to a stranger at the grocery store who has no idea who you are or what you are about to share with them, or someone who already knows who you are, what solutions you offer and what opportunity you present?  Do you think the later alternative would make it much easier to be successful in your Network Marketing or Home Based Business?  Do you think the success rate of sponsorship will rise in your organization with the later method?  My answer is definitely yes and I am proof that it happens.
