Let me ask you a question. Why are you involved in Network Marketing to begin with? Is it the chance for Time Freedom? Is it the Money or Lifestyle that it can bring? Was it the Product you were exposed to that you love so much? Have you really sat down and asked yourself this question? For me, it was the Time Freedom that interested me the most. Whether you love your JOB or not, all people want more time to spend doing something other than working. I like to spend time with my family and on my hobbies. Your Time Freedom might be different. What I saw in Network Marketing or MLM was the chance to gain extra time to do the things I enjoy. I figured that if I could create more Time Freedom, the Money and Lifestyle would come.
Let me ask you another question. Are you adding Time Freedom right now the way you are approaching your Network Marketing business? Are you adding residual income and reaching your lifestyle goals the way your are running your Home Based Business right now? If the answer is no, then you need to continue to read on.
If you are new to Network Marketing, that is great, because you are learning the correct way to build your Home Based Business. If you are a veteran of Network Marketing, that is great to, because you are also learning a new and long term way to build your Home Based Business, different then what you might have been taught in the past. Network Marketing is about leveraging the efforts of others. lt's about building a team of people who have the same vision, direction and goals as you. The challenge is how to find these people.
Let's look at the traditional way of building your Home Based Business or MLM:
- Create a list of everyone you know (Warm Market) and start calling them
- Host Home Parties and invite your friends and family to hear about your opportunity and products
- Host Hotel Meetings and drag everyone you know to them
- 3-Way your upline or sponsor in with anyone you come in contact with
- Talk to any and all strangers you come in contact with
- And the one I hate the most, badger what prospects you do have to do 1-5 above
This is only a few of the most popular methods of building a Network Marketing business, and I don't know about you, but NOT one of these methods scream excitement to me. In fact they are actually a turn off for most people. Why are they a turn off? Because not one of them tell me that the person I am going to talk to has any interest in Network Marketing or MLM or starting a Home Based Business. What about the product you say? Sure, you might find some people in your "Warm Market" who might like your product. Heck you might even have great luck in luring your friends and family over to your House Party and convince them to buy. But are you truly finding people who have the same vision, direction and goal as you do in building a Network Marketing business?
The method I like, the method that I teach is "Attraction Marketing." Think about this for a minute. What if I told you that you didn't have to make a list anymore, bug your friends and family, waste your time, effort and money on Home Parties or late night Hotel Meetings and what if you didn't have to cold call anymore?? Can you imagine people calling you, emailing you, wanting to learn what you do, wanting to join your Home Based Business, looking up to you as an expert in your field. How about if those people were already pre-qualified and honestly interested in Network Marketing. What do you think it would be like to talk to one of these individuals versus the old way of cold calling and other methods?? Attraction Marketing is the most effective way for you to build long term, sustainable results because you are working with people who already want to be involved, with no begging, no hard selling and no fear anymore of rejection.
